Honest Chocolate Opening Night

Although I am not much of a chocolate-kinda gal, when I heard that a new chocolate store was opening, there was no way I wasn’t going to pop by to give it a look see.

Best life decision ever.

Honest Chocolate (@HonestChoc) is “a small artisanal chocolate company based in Cape Town, South Africa. We use raw, organic cacao that is ethically sourced from Ecuador”. All their chocolate is handmade from unroasted cacao beans and contain no preservatives, artificial flavouring, processed sugar or blah blah blah etc etc etc. In other words it’s pure, delicious chocolaty goodness.

Paired perfectly with the chocolate, was organic wine from the Stellar Winery in Trawal, which is apparently found somewhere between Cape Town and Namibia. Stellar use ducks instead of pesticides, to rid the vineyards of snails which can destroy the harvest. Cute.

All in all it was a lovely night. Lots of fashionable people judging each others clothing, whilst sipping on wine and eating chocolate. Not bad for a Thursday night.
