FoodBlog – Cape Town Restaurants: Cafe Sofia Oyster Bar

Cafe Sofia Oyster Bar is situated in Camps Bay at The Promenade on Victoria Road. The ambience is very trendy and the warm and orange colours & the dark wood give the place a decadent feel of the 70’s. Just some more random information: The name Sofia comes from the Greek word for wisdom but it can pretty much be summed up as “Life”.

The restaurant offers an extensive tapas menu. But you can also order breakfast and many Continental and Mediterranean offerings at Cafe Sofia. Furthermore, they offer great specials during Happy Hour: 5 pm – 7 pm: all cocktails for R25 and beer on tap for R15. (Please let us know if this needs to be updated).

If you haven’t been here yet, why not go there this weekend? It is definitely a great dining experience. If you enjoyed the restaurant, come back to FoodBlog and leave a comment. If you didn’t, tell us why and recommend other restaurants in Cape Town which you have enjoyed.
