FoodBlog – Cape Town Restaurants: The Hussar Grill – Camps Bay
They had an incredible success in Greenpoint and have now opened another restaurant in Camps Bay. The Hussar Grill in Camps Bay is situated on Camps Bay Drive just before ( or after – depending from which direction you are coming) Rottingdean Road.
The Hussar Grill has won many prestigious awards for their steak and game cuts since 1964. The restaurant offers superb value for money and does not even charge for corkage. You can bring along your own wine if you like. But that’s not really necessary: The Hussar Grill has an A-grade wine cellar. And prices aren’t too steep.
On their menu, they offer fillet, rump, sirloin and TBones. The following game species are also available to order: Kudu, Springbok, Wildebees, Eland, Ostrich and [Warthog :)].
The venue in Camps Bay is much larger but apparently still offers the same warm ambience as the older restaurants. You will also find the same ambience: surrounded by wine bottles, old photos and books and the welcome addition of the amazing view that Camps Bay has to offer.
