FoodBlog – Cape Town Restaurants: The Kove
Marvin: It’s so difficult writing about restaurants I haven’t been to. Just scanning the internet for useful info. Creative writing has never been one of my strengths.
Another restaurant has been added to The Promenade in Camps Bay: The Kove. This is an upmarket restaurant providing extraordinary food and excellent service. It is a traditional grill-house that offers Camps-Bay-flair and tasty seafood. Furthermore, the Kove offers a good mixture of classic and modern dishes.
The ambience of the Kove is impressive as well. You will sit in a dark leather booth providing you with an intimate space for those customers who value their privacy. The restaurant also possesses one of the best wine lists on the Atlantic Seaboard.
Some dishes you have to try (apparently):
- Tuna medallions
- Catch of the Day
- Fresh local crayfish
- Duck a l’Orange (tried this at Mr Chan, it tastes really good – if I go to The Kove, will definatly try this one to compare it with my Chinese favorite)
- Fillet Chateau Briand
There you go, The Kove is one of the best restaurants on the Camps Bay beach front. If you are in the area, check the place out. And come back to leave comments. Thank You!
