FoodBlog – Cape Town Restaurants: The Roundhouse
The Roundhouse is located on Kloof Road situated in the picturesque Glen – Camps Bay - on the slopes of Cape Town’s Lions Head. It offers an amazing view of the mountains that Cape Town has to offer. Its history is actually really interesting: It’s a former guard house; the Roundhouse was also a tea room and hotel at one stage, a hunting lodge of Lord Charles Somerset. You can feel the importance and history behind it!
The Roundhouse offers simple French cuisine inspired by seasonal ingredients. You can also enjoy a fine bottle of wine from the large selection they’ve got on offer.
The ambience is very warm and genuine. The staff is friendly and sincere, always trying to help if you have any questions. This restaurant in Cape Town will not disappoint. If you don’t believe us – go to the Roundhouse and check it out for yourself!
