SGT Pepper | Long Street Restaurant: Pizza

Situated in the heart of the mother city, on the first floor of a beautiful building where the old Zula bar use to be, lies a 300 sq. restaurant and bar called SGT PEPPER Long Street Cape Town. What makes it SO nice? The emphasis lies on GOOD TIMES and we mean exactly that. SGT PEPPER has three different look and feels to it that will cater to any individual. The entrance in itself is an art work consisting of stencils and a tabasco chandelier hand crafted by the SGT PEPPER team. The entrance leads in to the inside restaurant area consisting of rustic elegance and an 8m non-smoking bar. The kitchen closes at 23:00 and, depending on the evening, the tables can be moved a side to create a dance floor and party area.

The 8m bar offers anything to clients from elegant & tasteful coffees to cocktails that will exceed your expectations! SGT PEPPER offers three different drafts, one being our own Jack Black and the other two being Black Label and the all new Castle Milk Stout (one of 30 outlets in the country that got the thumbs up for this brand). The balcony has a 180 degree view of Long Street, what a vibe! The galvanised hanging lights and beautiful Bali umbrellas pared with stencilled wooden tables and black & white chairs compliments the vibe in more ways than you can imagine.

The red smoking bar called “The Rock Room” will hit you harder than a Led Zeppelin rift! The interior consisting of stunning old frames of legends such as Freddie Mercury, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, Elvis Presley and many more will suck you into a world where free thinking is not for the brave, but is the norm. There is limited seating space in the smoking bar as it is now, but a function can be a different story.

SGT PEPPER also has a rocking foosball area where rock legends of yesteryear watches your every move. This area can also be created in to a smoking lounge for events.

The open plan kitchen is run by one of the owners, Marinus Vos, who ensures quality and leads by example. Our chefs are famous grillers who have an absolute passion for cooking. This is where the BEST PIZZAS IN TOWN is finely crafted into a fabulous mouth-watering experience. The kitchen is equipped to cook anything your heart desires.
