FoodBlog – Cape Town Restaurants: Primi Wharf – V&A Waterfront
Primi = Primi = Primi = Primi. The menu is the same for every restaurant; the atmosphere is the same, even looks the same!
So the only way a Primi can stand out from the rest is to offer excellent service and offer an amazing location. The Waterfront is probably as good as it gets... I can’t comment about the service because I have never been here.
Order the calzone, it’s really good in Willowbridge – so it must be good at the Waterfront as well (assuming that every branch is the same...of course!)
We used to book the private room for the Champions League final every year. THAT WAS GOOD FUN! (even though arsenal lost; but the Liverpool come back was amazing!) About 30 people can fit in the room. If you have two sets of supporters, the atmosphere is fantastic. But you DO have to eat something. The cheapest thing to order is some banana-thing – R18 at the time; could be a bit more expensive now – tastes awefull but we had to eat something! Cocktails are also pretty good! Might be a good venue for the World Cup in a few months time...
