FoodBlog – Cape Town Restaurants: Chandani

The Chandani restaurant is located on Roodebloem Raod in Woodstock. The name translates into “moonlight” – and this theme can be seen during the entire dining experience. Every decor and furniture item has been imported from India to make the customers experience as genuine as possible.
Chandani proudly call themselves an Indian vegetarian restaurant. They’ve got a large vegetarian section on their menu and their dishes containing meat are listed under the non-vegetarian section. Quite a nice touch – I think!
They specialize in North Indian cuisine and the number of dishes on offer is certainly impressive. Chandani even imported a 400kg clay oven to ensure that the cooking methods are as genuine as possible and all dishes are prepared to perfection!
If you like Indian cuisine, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out!
